Artiste manager, Nana Kwame Acheampong contributes to Ghana’s education section

It is rare to find person’s in the entertainment industry throwing their weight behind the government’s flagship programs to develop the country but Artistes Manager, Nana Kwame Acheampong is making a difference.

Within a spate of one year, the young entrepreneur and Philanthropist has already donated cash and assorted educational materials worth more than 30,000 Ghana Cedis to about 15 different public cluster of schools in the Greater Accra Region.

According to him, growing up was not all smooth for him and he feels no child of school-going age should face any difficulty in accessing quality education.

“I feel responsible for these children and if I had people in my life who helped me attain my success, then I also have to play a similar role in, at least, a child’s life.”

The young man, who grew up and had his upbringing in Accra, urged great gurus in the entertainment industry to venture into philanthropic gestures, giving back part of the fruits of their success to society. According to him, that is a sure way of ensuring their fulfilment in life.

“Fame and fortune mean nothing if you acquire it and enjoy it all alone. You will not feel fulfilled inside. I have identified my area of giving back to society, and I am happy doing it. It gives me some peace of mind”, he said.

As an Artistes Manager, Nana Kwame has groomed and successfully managed young and underground Hiplife and Highlife Artistes who are doing well in the industry.
